Minsk Bearing Plant to make parts for MTZ tractors
Minsk Bearing Plant will make reduction gear casings for front drive axles of MTZ tractors. Vitaly Zubovich, Acting Chief Process Engineer of OAO Minsk Bearing Plant, mentioned the plans, the MTZ press service told BelTA.

Vitaly Zubovich said: “Now these parts are manufactured outside the holding company MTZ. They are made by Baranovichi Machine Tool Accessories Plant. But MTZ supplies castings for them. We intend to localize manufacturing at our premises in order to optimize logistic processes. With this in mind we intend to buy four numerically-controlled machining centers.”
The new equipment made by HISION will enable complete machining of reduction gear casings for front drive axles. The purchase contract has already been signed and Minsk Bearing Plant will get the machine tools in early autumn.
